Facilities include: a thin film deposition suite, patterning and milling, testing and characterisation and SPIN-lab

Biomedical Engineering (BME) Hub 

Advanced Biomedical Engineering Core facilities are hosted here, as part of the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College. They include cell culture and histology lab,  fluorescent microscopy (Leica hub),  a bio-nanofabrication clean room, complex gate analysis platforms and high precision characterisation equipment. They are fully accessible to external partners through a flexible, by the hour and tiered booking system and relevant training.

MedTechONE, Imperial College

Sir Michael Uren Hub hosts the MedTechAccelerator, a MedTechONE programme supporting the Imperial College MedTech innovators community across all faculties. MedTechONE offers Quality/Regulatory, product development and funding plans expertise to help de-risk Imperial College MedTech projects. The Medtech Superconnector is the external facing branch of MedTechONE, running 6-months cohorts across the UK.

Facilities include: high-end analytical and preparative chromatography and capillary electrophoresis; single and triple quadrupole-LCMS; ICPMS; FTIR-Chemical Imaging; seahorse analyzer.

Centre for Rapid Online Analysis of Reactions

Facilities include: high-throughput robotic reactor platforms; in situ real-time reaction monitoring; Continuous flow reactors; Automated parallel synthesis reactors; uPLC-SFC-MS systems for high-throughput reaction analysis.

Centre for PULSE EPR

Facilities include: state-of-the-art pulse EPR instrumentation operating at multiple frequencies; home-built spectroelectrochemical cell; high-sensitivity, home-built pulsed X-band spectrometer developed in collaboration with the LCN.

Scale Space White City is a dynamic scaleup community offering 200,000 sqft of lab and office space, and state of the art conference and event facilities.

As a joint venture between Imperial and Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading digital venture builder, its mission is to support UK innovation by helping member businesses scale. This is achieved by connecting them to talent, networks, markets, and infrastructure, leveraging the assets and networks of the joint venture partners.

The thriving community also includes member companies from Imperial’s I-HUB, bringing together over 110 businesses across health and life sciences, technology, environmental, and security.
