Lights, camera, action! ITV moves London teams to WCID
We extend a very warm welcome to UK broadcaster ITV, which has moved its first teams into its new London headquarters in White City Innovation District’s White City Place. The move marks the first stage of ITV’s announced plans to bring all London-based staff into a single creative hub and campus for the first time in the company’s history.
Earlier this month, 800 ITV staff relocated to WCID’s Broadcast Centre from their existing offices in Gray’s Inn Road and Waterhouse Square, joining teams from ITV Daytime and Drama that are currently based in the WestWorks building at White City Place, and in the iconic Television Centre studios in Wood Lane – where ITV creates and broadcasts its biggest live shows including Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women, plus entertainment shows Saturday Night Takeaway and the Jonathan Ross Show. ITV has signed a long-term lease to secure 125,000 square feet of office space in Broadcast Centre, which offers a flexible layout and, having been specifically designed for a broadcaster, is amply equipped with the technical facilities needed by ITV’s operations teams.
White City Innovation District is home to some of the world’s most dynamic and innovative companies and a cluster of world-renowned creative organisations, including the BBC, Publicis and ITV. A further 1,200 ITV staff will be moving to the new offices over the coming year, culminating in ITV’s entire London team being based at White City Innovation District by mid-2023.

ITV foresees major benefits from its move to single location operations in London, including supporting the company’s smart working initiative for staff.
“We are delighted to have moved the first teams into our new London headquarters at White City Place. By early 2023, 2000 of our London-based employees will be located here, joining ITV Daytime and Drama who are already located in WestWorks, and our StudioWorks team at Television Centre.
It’ll be the first time we’ve all been together, creating a real hub for ITV in west London, and delivering new, smart ways of working for all our colleagues. We’re excited to be joining such a vibrant, creative community and bringing our distinctive ITV vibe to W12.”
