Event: Discover Royce at Imperial
Royce Institute at Imperial is offering an exceptional opportunity later this autumn for academics and SMEs to explore its state-of-the-art facilities, learn more about the expert technical support available from the Royce team, and discover routes to funded support for facility and equipment access through the Royce Access Scheme.
Join Royce Connections this September (date to be confirmed) to discover how the Royce Institute can support the development of cutting-edge technology and boost collaboration and innovation. Tickets will be free, open to all and available on a first-come-first-served basis. To pre-register your interest, please email Research Development Manager Dr Michael Leverentz.
Based at the Sir Michael Uren Hub in White City Innovation District, Royce at Imperial is a unique centre for both industry and academia to make, test and characterise materials, components and systems. Royce at Imperial is a founding partner of the research theme Atoms to Devices, which aims to facilitate the accelerated discovery and development of new device materials.
This crucial research area focuses on functional materials or materials with an inherent function – spanning deep tech applications including electronics, photovoltaics, catalysts, semiconductors, energy storage and piezoelectrics. Key capabilities on offer in White City that can be leveraged by researchers include thin film deposition, patterning and milling, electrical testing, and advanced characterisation techniques.
