Lenovo joins White City Deep Tech Campus for new AI innovation hub

 Global technology leader Lenovo is joining Imperial College London’s White City Deep Tech Campus in White City Innovation District to create a new hub for AI innovation.

Imperial has been chosen as Lenovo’s partner of choice thanks to its world‑leading academic reputation, top UK and European ranking, and the country’s largest concentration of computing and AI researchers. Based at Imperial’s White City Deep Tech Campus, the new London centre will bring Lenovo’s experts together with Imperial’s researchers to advance real‑world foundation model deployment, agentic AI, and coordinated intelligent systems.

The partnership connects Lenovo with Imperial’s vibrant ecosystem of academics, startups and industry, while creating new high‑skill STEM roles and attracting talent from across the UK.

Imperial’s White City Campus brings together leading academics, researchers, clinicians and innovative companies to translate breakthrough science into real‑world impact. More than 100 deep‑tech ventures are based on the campus, working at the cutting edge of AI, data science, quantum, life sciences, engineering biology, medtech, cleantech and advanced materials. Lenovo now joins this fast‑growing community, whose companies have collectively raised £410 million since 2023.

By establishing its base in White City, Lenovo also becomes part of WestTech London — a new hub for frontier innovation and entrepreneurship that is generating jobs, attracting investment and driving growth.
